"I wrote KARMA with artists like Dua Lipa, Miley Cyrus or 80's Stevie Nicks in mind...That gritty, 80's Rock style vocal that you hear on 'Edge of Seventeen' is exactly what I was going for...and I think we achieved that vibe nicely...

This song is close to my heart because it's a massive 'F* You' to anyone who's ever hurt you, you know? And they've moved on super fast...it's like. Do they know what you put me through? Well...Either way...Karma's a bitch..."

Karma (2020)

Rosanna Lefevre's brand new fifth studio single, KARMA.

Lyrics

I heard you got someone new
Does she know what you put me through
Karma's a bitch and she's coming for you
Dressed in black with my name tattooed.

Oh, oh oh
Oh, oh oh

She ain't that pretty and I'll bet you'll see
Ain't nobody gonna fit you like me
Oh, she's someone new
Karma's a bitch and she's coming for you

Oh, oh oh
Oh, oh oh

You will realise when I'm gone
Your new found love it ain't that strong
You will realise you were wrong
Your new found love it ain't that strong

I heard you got someone new
Does she know what you put me through
Karma's a bitch and she's coming for you
Dressed in black with my name tattooed.
(For you)

Oh, oh oh
Oh, oh oh

You will realise when I'm gone
Your new found love it ain't that strong
You will realise you were wrong
Your new found love it ain't that strong

I heard you got someone new
Does she know what you put me through
Karma's a bitch and she's coming for you
Dressed in black with my name tattooed...

"Letting go I can just imagine in a Bond film. Or the ideal background music when watching the most awe inspiring sun set...I close my eyes and it takes me back to that moment in time where I wrote it...

At a loss at what to do next. It's about literally letting go. What will be will be. One of my favourite lines in this track would be 'The darkness that's inside of you? It's inside me too.' Everyone has their own demons to bear. Let it go. Move on..."

Lyrics.

Don't wanna be alone anymore
I don't wanna face the silence
The darkness that's inside of you
It's inside me too

But guess what
I've had enough
Letting go of this game we're playing every time
Out my mind, I go insane
Guess what
I've had enough
Letting go of this game we're playing every time

Don't believe me
Watch me go
Cause I am strong now

Now I'm letting go
I'm letting go, oh

Don't wanna be alone anymore
Ah
I don't wanna face the silence
The darkness that's surrounding you
It surrounds me too

But guess what
I've had enough
Letting go of this game we're playing every time
Out my mind, I go insane
Guess what
I've had enough
Letting go of this game we're playing every time

Don't believe me
Watch me go
Cause I am strong now

Now I'm letting go
I'm letting go, oh

Go, Go

Guess what
I've had enough
Letting go of this game

Of this game

Letting Go
Letting Go

"I try and paint a picture with every song I write. I love country music - and this is arguably because story telling is one of country music's main components...The best songs are the ones that make you feel something. Really feel something...

I always write from emotion and with a will to express what I'm feeling or what I've experienced...so sometimes I will go for months without writing. Then, all of a sudden...something will happen to me within my life and I'll sit down and these ideas just come to me..."

"Still Together is one of my favourite tracks that I've written so far. It's very much inspired by Crosby, Stills & Nash. If you listen closely to the vocal harmonies, which are mixed purposely to create this gorgeous blend, you'll hear what I mean...

In fact, when I first wrote the song on  acoustic guitar and I first created the Demo of the track - it really did sound like a track from the Laurel Canyon era. As someone who is so inspired by Joni Mitchell, The Eagles etc...this song holds a special place in my heart."

Still Together (2019)

Rosanna Lefevre's new single "Still Together" enters a new territory. Bringing in more of her electronica influences, including Air and Massive Attack, and is a great new addition to her material.

Lyrics.

Do you think of me
I think of you
Do you think of us
And what we'd do
If we were still together
Together...

Deep in my mind
I go back in time
When you were mine
And everything was fine
And we were still together
Together...
Together...
Together...

Ah

Do you think of me
I think of you
All alone at night
Oh baby
What we'd do
If we were still together
Together
Together
Together...

"Desert of the Sea...the most relaxing track I've ever written...maybe?!...It's got a strange title admittedly. But I took inspiration from 'Sara' by Fleetwood Mac. That one lyric that everyone remembers...'Drowning in the sea of love...where everyone would love to drown.'

It really struck a chord with me when I was a teenager listening to that track for the first time. And I still remember it as a woman now.

Falling in love is like drowning, but you don't realise it. You're surrounded by nothing but them... Which is where my idea of being in a Desert comes from.

Desert of the Sea (2019)

Rosanna Lefevre.

Desert Of The Sea is Rosanna Lefevre's second single. It is a fantastic, thrilling song that showcases the power of lust, romance and loneliness. The track incorporates catchy melodies with heart felt emotion, and memorable lyrics.

Desert of the Sea,
Come to me
Talk to me
Surrounding you and me
Come to me
Talk to me

Love, you seem to be lost
Love, no light in your life
Love, and what has it cost you?
I want you to be mine

Desert of the Sea
Come to me
Talk to me
Surrounding you and me
Come to me
Talk to me

Love, it's written in the sky
Something's calling you to me
You don't need to know why
Well, I want you to be mine

Desert of the Sea
Come to me
Talk to me
Surrounding you and me
Come to me
Talk to me

Ah

Desert of the sea
Come to me
Talk to me
Surrounding you and me
Come to me
Talk to me...

"My first public release. This reminds me very much of one of my favourite albums, 'Buckingham Nicks'. Again, a very 70's era vibe. Especially at the end of the track.

This song is particularly country- esque. I love the meaning behind the lyrics. I wrote it when I was in a toxic relationship years ago, and years before it's release in 2019 actually. 'It's good, gone bad...If I could see a silver lining I would be fine...But it's not there..."

Silver Lining (2019)

Rosanna Lefevre

Lefevre’s first single ‘Silver Lining’ is ear catching and unique. One listen is enough to get hooked! The track is a product of fantastic songwriting, great vocals, meaningful lyrics and unique musicianship. It is well worth a listen.

Lyrics.

If I could see a silver lining
I would be fine but it's not there
Yeah, yeah
Pretending that I'm doing fine and
I'm alright and I don't care
Yeah, yeah

If I could see some distant shining
I would be lying
There's a darkness there
Yeah, yeah
Pretending that I'm doing fine and
I'm alright and I don't care
Yeah, yeah

It's good, gone bad
It's good, gone bad
Yeah
Yeah, yeah yeah

If I could see a silver lining
I would be fine but it's not there, yeah
Pretending that I'm doing fine and
I'm alright and I don't care
Yeah, yeah

It's good, gone bad
It's good, gone bad

Gone bad
Gone bad
It's gone and it's never coming back
Gone bad
Gone bad
It's gone and it's never coming back...
